05:00–06:00 PM: Pick-up from your hotel in Bali (Canggu, Kuta, Denpasar area depending on location). 11:00 PM: Arrive at Gilimanuk Harbour. 11:30 PM: Ferry crossing from Bali to Java. 00:30 AM: Arrive at Ketapang Harbour, Banyuwangi (Note: Bali is 1 hour ahead of Java). 00:30 AM: Drive towards Ijen Crater Basecamp. 01:30 AM: Arrive at Paltuding Basecamp. 02:00 AM: Safety briefing and trekking preparation, start trekking to Ijen Crater. 03:30 AM: Blue Fire observation (if accessible and conditions permit). 04:30 AM: Return towards the crater rim. 05:00 AM: Enjoy sunrise and panoramic crater lake views. 06:30 AM: Explore permitted viewpoints and volcanic landscape. 07:00 AM: Descend to Paltuding Basecamp. 08:30–09:00 AM: Arrive at basecamp, breakfast and freshen up. 10:00 AM: Drive to Ketapang Harbour. 11:00 AM: Ferry crossing back to Bali. 12:00–04:00 PM: Drop-off at your hotel in Bali, depending on location and traffic.
